A car came to a stop in front of a big house. Three girls stepped out of the car.
The three of them looked hot and attractive. Others around the car looked at them with surprise.
“Look how they are looking at us!” Debra said to Abigail and Ava.
Ava cast a glance at the others. She could see boys who were about to enter the house eyeing her from afar. Meanwhile, the girls gave her cold looks.
She lowered her head to look at her dress. Her upper body was covered fully by the black dress, but it was perfectly fitting with her body. It ended up in her mid–thighs. Since it was a fitted dress, she felt that it was too short. Half of her thighs were visible. She was not fond of revealing dresses,
“I swear! Ava looks bang–on. Boys are going to dream of her after tonight,” Abigail said.
Ava glanced at her and let out a chuckle. “I know you are trying to cheer me up.”
“No way. She is so right. Look at you. With this look and appearance, you can kill any boy, and they will be ready to let you do that,” Debra uttered.
The three of them laughed at their own words.
Ava shook her head, then took a deep breath.
“Let’s go inside,” she said.
Ava entered the house with her friends. She could not help but be in awe when she saw Ronald’s farmhouse. It was very similar to Stephen’s farmhouse. However, the difference was that it was near the hillside. Driving on this road was difficult, so everyone came with their drivers rather than driving their cars on their own.
In daylight, you might be able to see the hills‘ beauty. But the long windows allowed everyone to see outside. There were trees all around the house. In the darkness, the hills looked like black shadows.
Ava walked inside while looking around. Since it was a Power Gang’s party, there was no doubt they turned the house into a club.
Ava could see girls and boys enjoying the party. The loud music and smoke made her vision blurry. It was like there was an addiction to the smoke that could drive people’s minds crazy.
“Let’s have a drink,” Abigail asked.
Ava and Debra agreed and headed to the bar. After grabbing three glasses of beer, they walked to a corner.
“Where is your brother?” Debra asked Ava.
“Maybe he is coming with Ian,” Ava replied.
Just at that moment, all the lights in the house switched off Ava grasped Abigail and Debra’s hands tightly. She was afraid of the darkness.
“It’s okay, babe. It might be a blackout. They will arrange something soon,” Debra said, calming Ava in the dark.
“Yes, Ava. We are here with you. Don’t worry,” Abigail added, patting her hand.
Everyone was making loud noises due to the sudden power cut. However, when they heard the bikes‘ loud silencers, they became silent. They realized who had just arrived.
After a while, the main door opened and the lights turned on.

Ava felt relieved when the lights came back on. She exhaled deeply. However, when her gaze fell on the door, she nearly forgot to breathe.
Jan was at the door, looking at the people at the party. He had a confused look on his face. It was as if he was unaware of the party. After all, it was a surprise party for hiin.
His black clothing gave him a charming aura. Ava’s gaze moved to his face. He had his one brow pierced, which enhanced his attractiveness.
Ava shifted her gaze to his lips when he bit his bottom lip with his teeth. Her heart raced as she noticed the mole under his lower lip.
Despite the distance between them, she felt very close to him. She could see him very clearly. She felt enchanted as if she could see him without boundaries.
“Here is the birthday boy!”
Ava looked away fromh lan when she heard the other girls.
She noticed that Debra and Abigail were looking at her.
“What?” she asked in a whisper.
Debra glanced at Ian and mumbled,
“Why did you look lost in him just a minute ago? What’s on your mind, Ava?”
Ava froze at her question. “No, that is not-

“Or perhaps you accepted my suggestion?” Debra remarked, raising her brows.
Ava smiled at her. She knew her friend was just pulling her leg.
But when she glanced at Abigail, she saw she was calm.
“Where is Luke?” Abigail asked.
Ava pulled out her phone from her bag to call Luke. She dialed his number and found it was ringing.
While holding her phone near her ear, she once again glanced in the direction where Ian was.
Her heart skipped a beat as she noticed him looking at her.
She felt a shiver run down her spine as she saw his eyes move down her body, observing her from head to toe.
She recalled what had happened in Stephen’s car a few days ago.
“Hello? Ava?”
She quickly turned away from Ian and exhaled.
“Ava, are you hearing me?” Luke’s voice spoke out again.”
Ava realized that she was holding her phone and Luke was in the line.
“Luke, where are you? We are at the party, waiting for you.
“I will be there soon. I am on my way, Ava.”
“Okay, come safely.”

“Alright.”
After hanging up the phone, she turned to her friends. Only Abigail was there because Debra had dready g the dance floor.
Abigail gestured to Ava to look somewhere.
“You came here to enjoy the party, right? Why bother confronting the birthday boy?”
Ava nodded and turned back to look at lan. He was no longer looking at her.
When she noticed Stephen was talking with Jan like old times, she felt relieved in her heart. She did not want to ruin anyone’s friendship for her.
Ava took a sip of the beer and said to Abigail,
“You are right. It should not even bother me.”
