“Karina!”
Not until I shouted did a surprised smile bloom on the girl’s face. She quickly ran towards me. “Mom!”
I bent down and embraced the little girl.

Karina looked at the person in front of her curiously and then hid herself beside me.

Tomorrow will be the day to receive divorce papers from Calix.

After putting Karina to sleep, Fredrica and I sat in the living room, drinking red wine and chatting.

Calix looked up and glanced at the calendar hanging on the wall.
After enduring for over twenty days, was she finally unable to bear it anymore?

Anya’s Perspective

Calix showed no interest in wasting time with me. “Just say it clearly here!”
“Fine.” Since he didn’t care about people knowing about our divorce, I didn’t either.
I swiftly opened my tablet and tapped on a video interface.
“The Civil Affairs Bureau understands that everyone is busy, so they have implemented a video work system. This allows the staff to confirm our identities through video, and all we need to do is press a button to have our divorce certificate delivered to our doorstep. It saves us the trouble of going to collect
it.”
To be honest, this convenient service is truly thoughtful.
