As we waited for our food, everyone chatted aimlessly amongst themselves. 

Aiden was sitting next to me and I could feel his leg brush up against mine from time to time. The mere action sent tingles to the pit of my stomach, and made me heat up in places that were not appropriate for a restaurant setting, I tried my hardest not to focus on his touch as I focused my attention on Maria. She was telling me about her plans to go to NYU in the fall and study literature. 

All throughout dinner my body painstakingly was aware of Aiden’s close proximity. At one point he moved his hand so that it was resting on my thigh, and I had to hold back a gasp. 

My flesh burned under his touch. 

Who knew that such an innocent act would drive my hormones crazy. 

I turned to look at him to see if he was as distracted as I was, but he was just engrossed in sports talk with the guys completely oblivious to the effect he was having on me. 

As the waitress brought out a brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sauce with one single candle lit, I was all too aware of Aiden’s hand slowly creeping up and rubbing soothing circles against my flesh. I tried to focus on the burning flame in front of me rather than my own burning sensation but it became increasingly harder. 

After I blew out the candle, I quickly excused myself and walked out of the restaurant. Leaning against the wall in the hallway, I let out a deep breath 

I needed to cool off. 

“You’ve got to stop running away.” 

My head snapped up to meet Aiden’s piercing grey eyes. “You’ve got to stop…” I couldn’t finish that sentence. I didn’t know how to. 

What was I supposed to say? You’ve got to stop soaking my panties? Yeah that would go real smooth. 

“Stop what?” He asked as he inched closer to me. 

“Stop… whatever this is.” I mumbled. 

He takes another step forward until he’s right in front of me. I look up at him to see that he’s already looking down at me. He lifts his finger and tucks a strand of hair behind my ear.

As I tangled my fingers into his hair. Ballest gently in an attempt to bring him even closer. Aiden’s tongue licked my bottom lip and I eagerly obliged and partes my lips, deepening our kiss. 

His hands were both on my waist, holding me in place. I moaned into this mouth as one of his hands hega traveling down my back until it rested on my ass. “We should stop.” Aiden whispered softly and I couldn’t help ber

Taking his hand in mine, I pushed him off of me. He looked at me questioningly as I led him in the direction of our 

suite. 

Luckily we were already on the same floor. 

As soon as the door closed shut, I found myself pinned against the door with Aiden’s lips crashing down on mine. . My heart swelled as countless different emotions passed through me. When I grazed my hands up to his chest and wrapped my arms around his neck, Aiden took this as an opportunity to loop me in his arms and hoist me up 

Lately, when I’ve been around him, all logical thought left my brain and I drew a blank. I’m well aware that whatever is about to happen next will probably change the course of our entire friendship, but I couldn’t help myself.

I was so engrossed in his touch that I didn’t even realize that he had moved un until I was placed on a cold hard surface.
