Chapter 368
Celeste was thinking the same thing.
So, she replied to Trevor.
“I’m busy. Also, please keep your promise and make sure she doesn’t go to my grandmother’s house.”
After a while, Trevor replied, “Okay.”
After that, Trevor didn’t contact her again.
On the third afternoon of the May Day holiday, while Celeste and her family were preparing to enjoy rafting at a scenic spot, Lottie sent her a photo.
The person in the photo was Wynn.
Lottie was currently in Galdovia, busy with a fashion show.
Celeste looked at the photo and replied, “Is she watching your show?”
Lottie replied, “Yes! Talk about bad vibes.‘
Then, she sent another message. “She’s alone, though. I didn’t see Trevor.”
Celeste responded with an “Okay,” not particularly concerned about the situation, and asked, “When are you coming back?”
“Not sure yet.” Lottie had other things to attend to, so they chatted for a bit before she got busy.
More than ten minutes later, Lottie video–called her..
Celeste hesitated, and just as she answered, Wynn and Trevor’s figures appeared in front of her.
Lottie snorted and lowered her voice to speak to her. “He just arrived. The show has ended, and now he’s come to pick her up.”
Wynn seemed to know people there and was chatting enthusiastically with someone, while Trevor patiently waited beside her, watching her interact with others.
Matthias had predicted that Trevor would bring Wynn along on his business trip, and it turned out he was right.
However, seeing only the two of them and not Jordyn made Celeste furrow her brows.
Just as she was thinking about this, the camera suddenly shook, and Celeste thought something had happened to Lottie.
Upon taking a closer look, she realized that it was Trevor who had glanced directly at the camera. Clearly, he must have seen Lottie.
Lottie was startled when their eyes met. Before she could react, Trevor casually shifted his gaze away.
She and Lottie had been close friends for many years, and Trevor knew this. Yet, even though he encountered her
foreign country, Trevor made no effort to come over and greet her.

However, Trevor was like this with her family too, so it was normal for him to ignore Lottie.
After being seen by Trevor, Lottie was reluctant to point the camera at him again.
As for how things were between Trevor and Wynn, Celeste didn’t want to care. She thought about Jordyn and said to Lottle, “I need to make a call, I’ll hang up for now. When you come back, I’ll treat you to a meal.”
Lottie quickly replied, “Okay, go ahead then.”
After hanging up the video call, Celeste dialed Jordyn’s number. But the call didn’t go through.
Celeste thought for a moment and then switched to a video call. This time, it connected.
Jordyn was overjoyed to see the video call and immediately answered, “Mom!”
Celeste saw that she was in a car. So, she asked, “Where are you?”
“I’m abroad now,” Jordyn replied excitedly, “I just took a helicopter to watch the wildebeest migration. There were tens of thousands of them, nonstop. It was so stunning to watch them up close from the helicopter!”
Celeste was taken aback.
Wildebeest migration in May?
“Are you in Tavora?”
“Yes, I-”
But Trevor and Wynn were in Galdovia right now.
**
Although she knew that ever since Trevor started taking care of Jordyn, he had arranged for bodyguards to accompany her whenever he was unavailable, allowing her to go wherever she wanted.
Still, she was so young, and now Trevor and Wynn had gone to Galdovia, leaving Jordyn to travel so far with just bodyguards.
What if something happened?
Celeste tightened her grip on her phone, trying to control her emotions. She asked, “Did you go with your dad?”
“No,” Jordyn replied, “Dad said he was busy and didn’t have time to accompany me, so he told me to find something fun to do.
“I saw the animal migration on TV before and really wanted to see it in person, so I told Dad, and he arranged for someone to bring me here.”
