Chapter 325 Call Me Instructor Lola
As Shawn finished speaking, the ten men nearby exchanged glances before turning their eyes to Zach.
“Those five prodigies on the training ground will all be able to stand at the top of this world one day. ” Shawn turned to the ten men beside him and said, “The rest of you, follow me!”
Then, he spun around and marched briskly toward the inner training grounds.
‘Time to handle those troublemakers,‘ Shawn thought.
Lola watched their retreating figures for a long moment.
Only when the crowd had vanished from her sight did she finally lower her gaze to Zach, whose head barely reached her waist.
“You’re from Vyrdenia?” she asked.
Zach instinctively stepped back when his eyes met Lola’s because her gaze was deep and unfathomable, like a swirling
vortex.
But then, he remembered he was here to grow stronger, to protect his sister and mother. He straightened up and nodded earnestly. “Yes.”
A flicker of something unreadable flashed in Lola’s eyes as she watched him nod.
Then, after a brief hesitation, he extended his soft hand with surprising formality and said, “Hello. Ma’am. I’m Zach.”
Lola glanced at his outstretched hand and had no intention of shaking hands with him. Her voice was cold as she said, ” Don’t call me ‘Ma’am.‘ My name is Lola Ortega. From now on, you will call me Instructor.”
Zach nodded, and his face lit up with a pure, angelic smile. “Got it, Miss Instructor.”
“Bang!” A sharp slap rang out, catching him completely off guard.
The force of the blow left a glaring red handprint on Zach’s cheek.
His head snapped to the side, and his mind went blank.
All he could feel at that moment was the ringing in his ears and the fiery sting on his face.
Before he could recover, Lola’s voice, cold and cutting like shards of ice, pierced through the haze. “Didn’t I make myself clear? Call me Instructor Lola.”
Fighting through the burning pain, Zach slowly opened his trembling lips. “Understood, Instructor Lola.”
As he spoke, a thin stream of blood slid down the corner of his mouth.
Instinctively, he raised his hand to wipe it away.
But another slap cracked through the air before his fingers could reach his lips.
This time, it landed on the other side of his face.
Instantly, two vivid red handprints bloomed across Zach’s cheeks, perfectly symmetrical and jarringly out of place.
A sharp ringing flooded his ears as Lola’s icy voice cut through the noise. “From the moment I became your instructor, you can only do what I tell you to. Do you understand?”
Zach slowly lowered his head. “Alright.”
As he spoke, another stream of blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.
But this time, he didn’t bother to wipe it away.
Lola shot a cold glance at the glaring blood on Zach’s lips, then pulled out a handkerchief and tossed it onto h Clean it up.”
Without another word, she turned and walked straight toward the lodging area inside the training grounds. Seeing that, Zach quickly wiped the blood from his mouth and hurried after her, his footsteps echoing behind.
