Chapter 589 Garth’s Rage
Garth was so furious he nearly slammed his phone onto the ground.
The photo showed a naked woman with her back to the camera, her side profile faintly visible. Her hairstyle and figure were an uncanny match to Raven’s. But the man in the photo wasn’t his son, Cassian.
It was completely shameless. Garth was trembling with rage.
He had always thought Raven was a decent, trustworthy girl. Who would’ve thought she’d stoop so low, sneaking around with another man while Cassian was still missing?
“Garth, what’s wrong?” Tuesday noticed Garth’s pale expression and asked.
“It’s nothing.” Garth swiftly hid his phone behind his back, making sure Tuesday couldn’t see the photo.
“I’m feeling a bit tired. I’ll go rest for now.” With that, he turned and headed toward a bedroom in the apartment.
Once inside the room, Garth immediately pulled up a number on his phone and dialed it. “Hey, find out Raven’s address in Broson City for me. Get back to me ASAP.”
The photos maliciously edited by Thorian began circulating online just as Cassian received the anonymous text.
Hugmuinn quickly spotted them and deleted every single one without hesitation.
Afterward, Hugmuinn, visibly shaken, stormed into Raven’s study without bothering to knock, stopping directly in front of her. “Lady Valor, what’s the deal between you and Thorian? These photos are fake, right?”
“Do you think that’s even possible?” Raven glanced at the photos, her expression turning frosty. “These photos have been doctored.”
Hugmuinn let out a sigh of relief. But his brows quickly furrowed. “If these photos spread, it’ll be bad for everyone. “This has Thorian written all over it. I saw him earlier scheming with some shady guy. No doubt the whole hotel incident was his setup.”
A sudden thought hit Raven, Rin. Once again, Cassian was nowhere to be found.
Rin had been tied to Cassian’s disappearance before. ‘Could he hold the key this time?‘ she wondered.
The irony wasn’t lost on her. Bringing Rin back to life just to torment him might now lead her to Cassian.
She glanced at Hugmuinn. “Stay here. I’ll take care of this.” Without another word, she stood and walked out of the study. Thorian sat in the small lounge on the second floor, his gaze fixed on the study, keeping a close watch on the activity inside. The moment he spotted Raven, he quickly stood and walked over.
“Lady Valor, I swear those photos online weren’t my doing. As soon as I found out, I had them all deleted. If I ever catch the person behind this, I’ll make sure they regret it, piece by piece,” he said.
Raven gave him a cool glance, her expression unreadable. Without saying a word, she brushed past him and headed downstairs.
Thorian’s face visibly darkened as he watched her retreating figure.
After a brief moment of hesitation, he followed her out of the room.
Soon, Raven was behind the wheel of Hugmuinn’s car, speeding toward the location where Rin was being held.
Thorian rushed to the parking lot just in time to see Raven driving away. His gaze turned shadowy, his thoughts unreadable. He was steadily applying pressure, hoping Raven would come to terms with her feelings and realize who was truly right for her. But clearly, she needed a stronger push.
Just as Thorian was about to head back to the villa, he suddenly noticed a low–profile car pulling up at the entrance. The car came to a stop, and two figures stepped out, Garth and Tuesday.
