Chapter 590 The Lover
Garth’s face was twisted with anger, his phone still recording every word. After tracking down Raver’s location, he stormed out, determined to confront her and demand answers for betraying Cassian.
Seeing Garth’s fury, Tuesday insisted on accompanying him. Realizing he couldn’t keep the matter under wraps, Garth reluctantly showed Tuesday the photos he’d received.
Tuesday immediately declared that Cassian must cut ties with Raven and move to Ferreb as soon as possible
Initially, Garth had hesitated to support Tuesday’s plan out of respect for Cassian’s feelings. But now, after witnessing Raven’s shameless actions, he resolved to send Cassian to Forreb without delay, severing all connections with her Thorian froze mid–step as two figures stormed toward the villa, their hostility unmistakable.
He studied the man closely, a flicker of recognition sparking in his mind. Then it dawned on him, he’d seen this face in the files while investigating Cassian. It was Garth?
Instead of backing away, Thorian stepped forward, closing the distance between them.
The moment Garth laid eyes on Thorian, he recognized him as the man from the photo. Without hesitation, he lunged forward, his fist aimed straight at Thorian’s face.
However, Garth was getting on in years, so naturally, his skills were not as good as Thorian’s. And Thorian knew the purpose of Garth’s coming this time. Feeling guilty, Thorian had been on guard for a long time. He immediately grabbed Garth’s wrist and gave a hard push backward.
Garth grunted as he stumbled backward, barely staying upright thanks to Tuesday, who rushed to steady him.
“Garth, are you alright?” she asked, her voice filled with concern.
“I’m fine,” Garth snapped, his eyes blazing with fury. “I’ll teach this brat a lesson he won’t forget.”
Garth struggled to steady himself, still intent on charging at Thorian, but Thorian cut him off with a cold laugh. “You’re no match for me. Save your strength. This isn’t Regalhold, and it’s definitely not a place where you can throw his weight around, Mr. Lysander.”
Garth froze for a moment, his eyes narrowing. “You know who I am?” He immediately began sizing Thorian up again, his gaze sharp and scrutinizing.
Thorian smirked, his tone calm but cutting. “Of course I do. You’re the head of the Lysander family, right? I even know why you’re here today. But honestly, making a scene here? Doesn’t seem very dignified for someone like you.”
“You’ve got some nerve. If it weren’t for your shameless actions, do you think I’d be here confronting you?” Garth was furious.
“Shameless? Don’t twist the truth. Raven and I are in love–real love. What’s wrong with that?” Thorian didn’t care. “S–say that again.” Garth’s voice shook with rage.
“Raven and I are truly in love. And you, Mr. Lysander? What right do you have to question me?” Thorian repeated.
Garth’s face flushed red, his hands trembling as he struggled to contain his fury. “A man like you, young and accomplished, could have any woman you want. Why stoop so low as to become a lover?”
“Watch your words, Mr. Lysander. I’m no lover. When Raven and I met, Cassian wasn’t even in the picture. If we’re being precise, Cassian is the lover here.”
“You bastard.” Garth couldn’t tolerate Thorian slandering his son. Pointing a finger at Thorian, he demanded coldly, “Bring Raven out here. I want to hear it from her own mouth. How dare you claim my son is the lover? Where is Raven? Tell her to come out and face me.”
