“Shut up!” Thorian roared. 

Thorian hated it the most when others said that he was not worthy of Raven. The sword in his hand was faster and more ruthless as he stabbed towards Hugmuinn’s vital points. 

“I didn’t do anything wrong. I did all of this to show Lady Valor who is really suitable for her. Even if I did something that would affect Lady Valor’s reputation, I had no choice. 

“If anyone has to be blamed, blame it on Cassian for overestimating himself and insisting on competing with me. If he had known his limits and quit earlier, none of this would have happened. 

“I like Lady Valor and want to be with her. What’s wrong with that? I’ve known her for five years. Why should a useless gigolo beat me to it? I can risk my life for Lady Valor, whereas he will only hide behind her and let her protect him. Such a weak and useless man is not worthy of Lady Valor at all.” 

Hugmuinn said as he dodged Thorian’s attack, “You’re incorrigible. Mr. Lysander isn’t a weak and incompetent gigolo at all. He-” 

However, before Hugmuinn could finish his sentence, Thorian’s long sword stabbed towards his throat. 

Hugmuinn was shocked. It was too late to dodge. 

“Go to hell. How dare you speak up for that gigolo? You deserve to die, too.” 

Seeing that the sword in Thorian’s hand was about to stab him, Hugmuinn closed his eyes in despair. 

However, at this moment, a green–blue light cut through the hexagram array like a sharp blade. 

In the next second, a figure in white stood in front of Hugmuinn and grabbed Thorian’s sword with his bare hands. 

The expected pain did not appear. Hugmuinn opened his eyes in a daze and realized that a tall and handsome young man was standing in front of him. His back looked a little familiar. 

“Mr. Lysander?” Thorian said in shock. 

Thorian was slightly taken aback to see that Cassian had broken his hexagram array. 

However, even so, he did not take Cassian seriously. He only felt that he had let down his guard because he was focused on killing Hugmuinn just now. That was why Cassian had a chance. 

Cassian had originally come to the villa to look for Raven. However, as soon as he entered the courtyard, he heard the sounds of fighting. When he rushed over in the direction of the sounds of fighting, he happened to see Thorian’s sword about to pierce Hugmuinn’s throat. 

He had seen Hugmuinn before when he was with Raven. He knew that Hugmuinn was Raven’s subordinate. Hence, before the sharp blade could pierce Hugmuinn’s throat, he quickly broke the hexagram array and stood in front of Hugmuinn. “Cassian, are you here to die?” Thorian stared coldly at Cassian and asked. 

However, Cassian ignored Thorian in front of him. Instead, he turned his head slightly to look at Hugmuinn behind him and asked, “Where’s Raven?” 

“Boss had something on and went out,” Hugmuinn replied. 

Hugmuinn panted heavily. It was obvious that he had yet to recover from facing a life–and–death crisis. 

“Cassian, when Raven was in trouble, you weren’t by her side. Now, you still have the cheek to look for her? Listen, Raven is already disappointed in you and has decided to be with me. No matter how much you pester her, she will not change her mind,” Thorian said, looking down at Cassian with the attitude of a victor. 

In his opinion, Cassian standing in front of him was useless except for having perfect looks. Even if Cassian tried his best to pretend to be very imposing, he felt that Cassian was just putting up a front.
