Chapter 606 Robert Strikes 

Hugmuinn hurriedly ran upstairs to the study to look for Raven. 

“Boss, the person sent by Mr. Brown is downstairs. He wants to take you to Tranquil Manor 

Raven thought. The person sent by George? 

Raven was a little puzzled. The World Celebrities Wine Party would be held tomorrow. She wondered why George would send someone to pick her up at this time. 

However, even though she was puzzled, she still went downstairs with Hugmuinn 

A lanky young man in black was standing at the door. He glanced at Raven indifferently and said in a low voice, “You must be Raven. I’m under Mr. Brown’s orders to escort you to the manor. He has something to tell you about the Celebrities Wine Party tomorrow.” 

Raven said, “Lead the way” 

Raven told Hugmuinn to stay in the villa while she followed the lanky young man out of the villa 

The lanky young man silently walked to the black car parked at the door. When he saw Raven open the car door and get in, he got into the driver’s seat. 

Raven sat in the back row. After getting into the car, she took out her phone and carefully read the message Cassian had sent her. 

Just as she was focused on reading the message, she did not notice the glint of light in the eyes of the lanky young man in the driver’s seat. 

There were not many cars on the road, and the car was driving towards the suburbs, heading towards someplace remote. Raven raised her head and looked out of the window. Suddenly, she frowned slightly and said, “This road doesn’t seem to go to Tranquil Manor.” 

“I took a shortcut,” the lanky young man driving the car replied calmly. “This road leads straight to the back door of the manor. Usually, subordinates like us take this road. I hope you don’t mind.” 

Raven nodded, but the doubts in her mind did not dissipate. 

The last time she went to Tranquil Manor, she had seen a few guards entering and exiting the main entrance. George did not stipulate that his subordinates could only enter through the back door. 

This man, who claimed to be George’s subordinate, was lying. 

Raven vigilantly looked around and felt that the place this person wanted to take her to was not Tranquil Manor. 

She looked up at the lanky young man in the driver’s seat again and suddenly sensed a cold smile on the young man’s lips. 

She said, “Stop the car.” 

However, the young man driving didn’t seem to hear her and continued to drive forward. 

The car soon drove up a mountain road. On one side was a steep mountain wall, and on the other side was a bottomless cliff. If there were any mishap, the car would plunge to the bottom of the cliff and they would die. 

Raven realized that this was a trap deliberately designed for her. Just as she was about to pull open the car door beside her, she heard a click. 

It was the sound of a car door being locked. 

In the next second, before Raven could react, the lanky young man driving in front turned the steering wheel violent charged towards the cliff. 

At the same time, less than 15 feet away from the car Raven was in, a black jeep sped over. 

A black pistol stretched out from the window beside the driver’s seat, aiming in the direction of Raven’s car door. 

Raven could clearly see Robert’s hideous face in the driver’s seat with the help of the jeep’s headlights. 

Robert had been pointing the pistol at Raven. As long as her body leaned out of the car window, he would use the bullets from the special pistol brought from the upper realm to kill her. 

The moment Raven saw Robert’s special pistol, she knew that she could not jump out of the car. 

At that moment, the lanky young man stepped on the accelerator.
