Chapter 617 George Brown Appeared 

The others around him agreed. 

They said, “That’s right. How could Raven, the slut, be Mr. Brown’s student?” 

“A self–righteous person like her is not even fit to be a doorkeeper for Mr. Brown.” 

Most of the people who mocked Raven were doctors from various countries who had come to participate in the World Medical Conference and the family heads who were on good terms with Estella. 

They had long disliked Raven. Now that they had an opportunity, they naturally wanted to trample on her. 

“Shut up! Miss Valor is not someone you can slander at will!” said Martin.. 

Although Martin was not sure Raven was George’s student, he had seen how confident Raven was before. That gave him some confidence in his heart. 

Martin had not been by Raven’s side for long, but he had more or less figured out Raven’s personality, Raven would not do anything uncertain. She definitely wouldn’t flee from the battle just because she encountered a bit of danger. 

Therefore, he was sure that the reason Raven didn’t arrive in time had to be that she had encountered something on her way that delayed her. 

He believed Raven would appear today.

“Previously, she had been publicizing that Mr. Brown was her master. Now that Mr. Brown will announce his student’s identity at the party, she has become a coward and daresn’t show her face. You’re no better off by following and working for her, a good–for–nothing!” 

His words made the surrounding guests burst into laughter again. 

‘Even Raven has run away, but Martin, her subordinate, is still pretending. How ridiculous!‘ they thought. 

Just as those people were about to take the opportunity to teach Martin a lesson and to vent their anger, they suddenly realized the guests near the door had suddenly quietened down. 

A powerful aura swept in from the doorway immediately after. A man in white strolled into the party hall. 

After he entered, his gaze landed on the president of a local financial group beside Martin. His cold voice carried a strong sense of oppression as he said, “Who did you just say run away?” 

The president, who had been called, was taken aback and did not know how to respond for a while. 

Then, Thorian, standing on the other side, suddenly walked out angrily when he saw George. 

“How dare a liar like you come to the Celebrities Wine Party?” said Thorian. 

Thorian’s words stunned everyone present. 

Soon, someone couldn’t help but ask, “Mr. Thorian, what are you talking about? What liar?” 

Thorian had walked quickly to George. 

He pointed at George and said to the surrounding guests, “This man was the liar who impersonated Mr. Brown! Previously, he was the one who sneaked into Tranquil Manor and impersonated Mr. Brown. He even claimed Raven was his student! 

“I thought this man would hide away cowardly after that farce, but I didn’t expect him to be so bold. He knew the real Mr. Brown would be here today, but he still dared to show off!” 

Then, he raised his hand and pointed at George’s nose. He questioned coldly, “Do you think no one will dare to expose you?” George raised his eyes slightly and gazed at Thorian coldly.
