Robert looked into George’s emotionless eyes. He felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave.
He shook his head vehemently and said, “No! My lord, I did not! I have no grievances with Scion. Why would I want to harm
her?”
Raven suddenly smiled and said, “Didn’t you have any grievances with me? Didn’t you help Ashley deal with me previously? Doesn’t that make you my enemy?
“You already knew the person Mr. Brown was looking for was me. Worried that I would expose what you had done to me before the Celebrities Wine Party, you decided to go all the way and used Mr. Brown as an excuse to call me out.
“You should know there are ferocious beasts at the bottom of the cliff. That’s why you got your subordinates to drive me to the winding mountain road near the cliff. You planned to push me down the cliff to silence me.
Raven’s words made everyone present look at Robert in shock. Even the heavily injured Ashley struggled to look in Robert’s direction.
Robert had long known Raven was George’s student, but he had been hiding it. He had watched coldly as I did something to Raven. How hateful! He is so hateful!‘ thought Ashley.
“No, Scion. I was deceived. I didn’t want to kill you,” said Robert.
As if Robert felt the person who controlled his life and death was still George, he simply turned his body and explained to George, “Mr. Brown, Ashley had always wanted to harm Scion. I only wanted to help her because of you. I didn’t expect the person Ashley wanted to kill was Scion.
“Mr. Brown, I know my mistake. Please, for the sake of my loyalty in serving you all these years, spare my life!”
However, George was unmoved by Robert’s explanation.
George looked in Raven’s direction and said, “Robert tried to harm me. His crime is unforgivable. I’ll leave him to you. You can do whatever you want.”
Even though Robert had been George’s subordinate for four years, Raven was the most matter to George.
Raven was a little surprised and raised her eyebrows.
“Even if I have to kill him?” said Raven.
Raven originally thought Robert was George’s close subordinate, and George would ask her to spare Robert’s life. She did not expect George to directly hand Robert over to her.
“You could do anything as long as you are happy. Robert is just a servant. If he made a mistake, you could just kill him. Not only him, but everyone who had bullied you should not live in the world.”
George’s words shocked everyone present. Despair and fear appeared in their eyes.
Either George or Raven could decide the life and death of those people with just one sentence.
Robert’s heart turned cold when he heard George’s words. With his understanding of George, he knew his outcome should
have been like that.
George would not plead for Robert, but would directly order Raven to kill Robert. That was precisely why Robert was so terrified and panicked after learning Raven’s true identity.
Robert had followed George for four years, so he knew George’s personality and style well. However, the fear of death still made him keep begging Raven.
“Scion, please give me another chance. I won’t dare to do it again! Scion, I can make up for my mistakes.”
Before Robert could finish his sentence, Raven raised her hand slightly, and a white light flashed before everyone’s eyes. Immediately after, a bloody hole appeared on Robert’s chest.
His pupils suddenly constricted, and he fell in shock.
Everyone present was shocked as they looked at Raven. They had never imagined Raven would take Robert’s life so easily.
On his deathbed, Robert clutched his chest in pain. His expression turned ferocious from despair and fear of death.
He glared at Raven venomously and muttered, “You won’t be happy for long, even though you kill me. The news of your presence here will soon be known to that gentleman in Forreb. His subordinates will soon find you and kill you again.
“Raven, you will get your retribution. You will.”

Then, Robert felt another sharp pain coming from his back.
With great effort, Robert turned around and saw George behind him holding a short knife. He plunged the dagger deeply into Robert’s back, piercing his body through.
