Chapter 653 To Curry Favor With Raven
Chapter 653 To Curry Favor With Raven
“Cassian.” Tuesday said worriedly at that moment, “I’m doing this for your good. Can you stop being willful and unreasonable? I can understand you’re not used to a new environment I’ll show you your room now.”
Mack snorted. “Bring him upstairs and let him reflect on himself in his room. Let him recognize his identity!”
He had always despised Tuesday, a lowly woman who had come from the lower realm. However, Tuesday was scheming.
Not long after she met his son, she was found to be pregnant and gave birth to Fee later.
For the sake of his grandson, Mack gave Tuesday marks and agreed to let her marry Leonard. However, Mack had always been brooding over the fact that Tuesday had once been married.
Now that he saw Cassian, a pariah from the lower realm, dared to treat him with such an attitude, besides being angry, he even vented his anger on Tuesday. He was also a little dissatisfied when he spoke to her.
Tuesday pretended not to hear anything. She smiled at Cassian and said, “Cassian, let’s go. I will show you your room.” Cassian said nothing this time. He glanced sideways at Felipe, who was sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed and staring at Cassian with hostility.
Although Felipe was arrogant and despotic, his complexion was far from good. He looked ashen as if he had just recovered from a serious illness.
Then, Cassian went up to the second floor with Tuesday in silence.
Tuesday led Cassian into a small room less than 105 square feet. She told him kindly, “Cassian, this will be your home from now on. If you need anything, just let me know. Don’t stand on ceremony.”
Cassian sized up the room that had nothing but a bed, a wardrobe, and a desk. His lips curled into a cold smile.
“You guys are well–prepared,” said Cassian.
Tuesday was a little awkward. “Cassian, there are no other rooms available in the villa for the time being because you came suddenly, so you will have to make do with it for the time being.”
Obviously, she knew it was not appropriate to use a room that was not even as good as a servant’s room to let Cassian stay in the gorgeous villa.
However, Mack did not allow Cassian to stay on the floor where the master’s rooms were located. Among the servant rooms on the second floor, only the room, which had previously been used for storing sundries, was available for use.
“So you went back to me on a spur–of–the–moment basis?” asked Cassian.
Cassian did not care about the conditions of the room. However, he was disgusted that Tuesday pretended to be a loving mother even though she did not care about him at all.
“Cassian, you should be tired. Take a rest. I won’t disturb you anymore.”
Tuesday did not know how to explain it to Cassian, so she gave a perfunctory reply before hurriedly closing the door and walking out.
Cassian looked at Tuesday’s somewhat disheveled back, and his lips curled into a cold smile. Then, he looked into the distance through the window. There was no obvious emotion in his big eyes.
At a villa in Regalhold, Raven set up a huge cage in the backyard as the residence of the white lion.
Usually, the White Stallion could live with Raven in the villa, but not everyone could accept such a huge creature being kept in the city.
To prevent the White Stallion from scaring the others, Raven specially customized a huge cage. She planned to let the White Stallion move around in the cage when she was not around.
Although it was called a cage, it was no different from a small room. There were all kinds of food and toys inside. Raven also hired two young people who had been breeders in the zoo to take care of the White Stallion.
The White Stallion was originally hostile to the two breeders, but after Raven disciplined it, it quickly changed its attitude toward the two breeders who took care of it.
“Miss Valor, those people are here again. We can’t chase them away.”
