Chapter 667 Get The Car Ready
“According to your instructions, it had already been sent to them, the bodyguard replied cautiously.
He also added, “But the person who sent the invitation was slapped twice by the Lysander family’s bodyguard, I don’t think the head of the Lysander family will come.”
“How dare that old fellow of the Lysander family slap people of the Lawrence family! A trace of anger flashed in Thorian’s eyes, and he sneered, “If he doesn’t come to witness my engagement party with Pen, how can that idiot son of his give up?”
After saying that, Thorian took out his phone and dialed Edric’s number. The phone rang a few times before Edric answered. “You beast! Why did you call me?” As soon as Edric picked up the phone, he let out a heart–wrenching cough.
“Mr. Lysander, don’t be angry. I only called to tell you that Raven and I hope you can come and witness our engagement. Your blessing would make our engagement party even more special,” Thorian said.
“Don’t go too far!” Edric almost fainted from anger.
He cursed in his heart, ‘Thorian snatched my son’s girlfriend, and now he wants me to go to the engagement party to give them my blessings? Dream on. I wish I could let this adulterous couple die together right now!
Thorian said calmly, “Mr. Lysander, don’t be agitated. It was Cassian who left Raven at her darkest hour out of cowardice. Now look, not only has she escaped Robert’s persecution, but she’s become George’s prentice. Even the once–arrogant Robert met his end at Raven’s hand in public.
“If that worthless son of yours ever finds out Raven’s true identity, he’ll surely regret his cowardice. What kind of future does a nameless lowlife sneaking around in Forreb have, compared to staying by Mr. Brown’s side?
“As for you saying that I’m not qualified to be with Raven, you’ve seen it now that I’m about to be engaged to her. I’ll be her legal fiancé. As for your idiot son, he won’t have another chance again.”
Thorian’s words were like sharp knives that stabbed Edric’s heart until it bled, and his face twisted.
He had always prided himself on his age and wisdom, believing he could rise above worldly grievances. Yet at this moment, he despised the young man on the phone with such intensity that he yearned to kill the young man himself.
‘Thorian was the one who used despicable methods to seduce Raven, making Cassian sad and go to Forreb, Edric thought indignantly.
Others might not know about Cassian’s feelings for Raven, but Edric knew it well. Therefore, he would never allow Thorian to insult Cassian after Thorian snatched Cassian’s beloved woman.
“Thorian! Even if you’re with Raven, you two won’t be happy. You’re a complete third party. A hypocrite! One day, Raven will see your true colors,” Edric said.
“Old fool, there’s something you’re wrong about.” Thorian laughed instead of getting angry.
Then, he said, “In a relationship, only the unloved one is the third wheel. Raven’s heart belongs to me alone now. So do us both a favor, and make your son give up for good.
“This time, I called you to warn you. Tell your useless son to stop deluding himself and trying to come back to find Raven to reconcile with her.
“Since he had chosen to leave back then, he would never have the chance to be with Raven again.
“From now on, Raven is my fiancée. I won’t allow her to have any relationship with other men.
“Mr. Lysander, the Lysander family is a reputable family in Regalhold. You don’t want your son to become a shameless third party, right?”
After saying that, Thorian hung up the phone. On the other end of the phone, Edric was so angry that he coughed violently again. Blood even seeped out of the corner of his lips.
“Mr. Lysander! Mr. Lysander, are you all right?” The Lysander family’s butler was so frightened that he hurriedly went forward to support Edric. Then, he shouted to the servants at home, “Call the family doctor. Hurry up and call the doctor over!”
“There’s no need.” Edric raised his hand to wipe the blood from his lins. He nanted heavily and said to the butler, “Get the car ready for me.”
