“Well…” Edric hesitated, not wanting to tell Thorian about this.

He said, “I know Raven is George’s disciple, so she must have Forreb’s special communication chip. I want to borrow a communication chip from her and contact Cassian in Forreb. “You can’t reach Cassian?” Thorian was slightly stunned. Then, he looked at Edric in surprise.
‘How could Cassian and his mother not leave Edric a communication chip before they went to Forreb? Why does Edric have to come to Raven to get in touch with Cassian?‘ Thorian wondered.

“It’s true that I can’t reach him.” Edric continued, “They left in a hurry, so they didn’t tell me how to contact them.”
“Nonsense!” Thorian suddenly slammed the table and said coldly to Edric, “This is all your excuse. Your real motive for finding Raven is to ruin our engagement party. Don’t think that I don’t know what you’re thinking. Don’t even think about ruining my engagement with Raven!”
Upon hearing Thorian’s rejection, Edric became even more anxious. He explained, “No! I didn’t want to ruin your engagement party. I swear. I’ve already come to terms with the fact that you and Raven are together. Now, I’m only concerned about Cassian’s safety. I don’t want to care about anything else.”
‘Cassian’s safety?‘ Thorian caught the key point from Edric’s words. ‘Didn’t Cassian follow his mother to Forreb to live a good life? What could happen to him?‘
Though his expression remained impassive, fireworks of joy exploded in his heart. He felt it was the most pleasant thing he had ever heard from Edric.
He originally thought Cassian had gone to Forreb to lead a good life.
Now that he learned from Edric that Cassian might not be doing well over there, the jealousy in his heart dissipated a little. Then, his lips curled into a mocking smile. He said, “Mr Lysander, don’t tell me you made up this reason, too.”
“Of course not. I’m worried about Cassian’s situation there, so I want to contact him.” Edric hurriedly explained, “Why would I joke about my son’s safety? So, hurry up and inform Raven to come and see me.”
“I only need to make a phone call to get Raven to come,” Thorian said.
His gaze was playful as he continued, “But why should I help you? Not long ago, you pointed at my nose and scolded me. You said that I was a scumbag and that I was shameless enough to snatch someone else’s girlfriend. I remember all the vicious words you said to me previously.
“Now that you want my help, shouldn’t you show me some sincerity? It’s not enough not to stop me from being with Raven. You should apologize to me for what you said before. Don’t you think so?”
“Thorian, you’re like a villain holding sway now,” Edric said unhappily.
Edric hadn’t intended to pursue the matter. But he did not expect Thorian to make things difficult for him. He was furious.
He said, “I’ve already stopped pursuing the matter of you snatching my son’s girlfriend. Why are you still unwilling to let it go?”
