Chapter 672 His Fiancee Is Here

 believed that he could see Raven even without Thorian’s help. After all, today was Thorian and Raven’s engagement party, so no matter how busy she was, Raven would surely attend. Once there, he could find a way to speak with her alone and reveal Cassian’s desperate situation, convincing her to help. 

“I don’t believe that Raven would be so inhumane as to watch Cassian suffer in Forreb and refuse to help,” Edric said as he 

walked out. 

However, just as he was about to leave the storage room, he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his back. 

“Ouch!” Edric screamed and fell to the ground. Then, his body was dragged back to the room. 

Thorian took the opportunity when Edric walked out of the room to take out his dagger and stabbed Edric in the back. He dragged Edric back to the room with a gloomy expression. Then, he looked down at Edric and said to him word by word, “Old fool, do you think I don’t know what you’re planning? You want to ruin my and Raven’s engagement party. You want to tell Raven about Cassian’s situation in Forreb and ask Raven to look for him. I won’t let you succeed.” 

He continued after a pause, “I had worked hard for so long and finally had the chance to get engaged to Raven. I will not allow anyone to ruin it. The only man who can stand by Raven’s side is me. A useless piece of trash like Cassian should completely disappear from Raven’s side. You want to ruin my relationship with Raven and let your son take over? Dream on!” Thorian squatted down, killing intent flashing in his eyes. He thought to himself, ‘I can’t let Edric find Raven. I might as well go all out and kill him. 

‘In any case, I had already killed so many people to be with Raven. Now, I have no psychological burden to kill Edric. ‘On the contrary, if Edric is still alive, even if Raven and I are already engaged and have a marriage agreement, perhaps Raven will soften her heart when she hears about Cassian’s situation. 

‘It’s not easy for me to get engaged to Raven. No matter what, I can’t let that trash Cassian have any chance to ruin our relationship.” 

Thorian made up his mind and stabbed Edric many more times with the dagger in his hand. 

“Go to hell, old fool. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself for ruining my and Raven’s engagement party.” Thorian was like a bloodthirsty demon. With a ferocious expression, he shouted that he wanted to kill Edric. 

Edric fought with all his might, but he was old, and his physical strength was far less than before. Now that he was injured, he was no match for Thorian. After struggling twice, before he could get up, he was stabbed in the chest by Thorian again. “Now, I’ll send you to hell!” Thorian yelled. 

When Thorian’s dagger was about to pierce Edric’s heart, the bodyguard’s voice suddenly sounded outside the storeroom.” Mr. Lawrence. Miss Valor is already here. The engagement party is about to start. Are you still busy there?” 

Thorian was slightly stunned when he heard that. His eyes suddenly lit up with joy. ‘My fiancée is here!” 

He was so excited that he threw down the dagger in his hand and hurriedly used Edric’s jacket to wipe the blood off his 

hands. 

The engagement party that he had been dreaming of was about to start. He wanted to rush to Raven immediately without wasting a moment. 

‘Edric has already been stabbed a few times by me, so he definitely won’t live for long. Letting him die in pain and despair in the storeroom during my and Raven’s engagement party is more satisfying than directly killing him,‘ Thorian thought. With that thought in mind, Thorian reached to pat Edric’s cheek. He said smugly, “Old fool, I’m going to be engaged to Raven soon. Don’t even think about ruining our relationship. You can wait for death here.” 

To prevent Edric from contacting the outside world, Thorian even snatched Edric’s phone. Then, he closed the storeroom door and tidied his messy clothes. Then, as if nothing had happened, he walked toward the banquet hall. 

When Edric heard Thorian’s footsteps fading away, he struggled to support his body and slowly crawled out of the storeroom.
