Thorian’s voice cracked like dried blood. He wanted to live. He wanted to stay by Raven’s side, even if not as her fiancé.
“For the sake of all these years I’ve worked for you and risked my life for you, please spare me and don’t make things difficult for my family, Lady Valor. I know that I was wrong. I do.” The fear of death made Thorian collapse and apologize to
Raven.
However, his words came too late. He had been stubborn and missed the last chance that Raven had given him to survive. Raven walked up to Thorian with a cold expression. With a slight tap of her finger, bright red flames immediately appeared on her fingertips, ready to pounce on the man lying on the ground in a sorry state at any time.
“It’s too late to admit your mistake now. When you saw Cassian but did not inform me, when you ruthlessly stabbed the dagger into Benedict’s chest, when you cooperated with outsiders to betray me, you were no longer a member of Valhalla,” Raven said.
“Lady Valor.” Thorian was still trying to ask her to spare him.

“Ouch! No, ouch!” Thorian let out desperate and mournful growls. The pain made his body twitch uncontrollably and made him roll on the ground.
He never expected Raven to kill him in such a tragic way.
Thorian had clung to a sliver of hope that Raven might spare him for the sake of their years together. But when she came, she denied him even a swift death.
“Raven, you’re so ruthless!” Amidst the burning flames, Thorian forced himself to get up. “For the sake of a man, you’d discard all our years together. You didn’t even show any mercy or hesitation at all.”
He swayed his body and slowly walked toward Raven.
Flames danced and burned on his body, and a burnt smell filled the air. The high temperature roasted Thorian’s originally handsome face, making him look more like a demon from hell.
“Do you think you can get back together with that gigolo after killing me? Let me tell you, Cassian has already gone to Forreb.” After saying that, Thorian suddenly laughed wildly.
He thought, ‘I’ve learned from Edric that Cassian’s life in Forreb is not easy and might even be dangerous, but so what? I’ll never tell Raven this news.
‘I had killed Edric already. From now on, no one will know where Cassian is. Raven can forget about seeing Cassian again. Aha. What I can’t get won’t belong to that gigolo Cassian either.‘

At this moment, there was a commotion at the entrance of the banquet hall. Everyone turned to look in the direction of the door.
Thorian also struggled to turn his head.
The next moment, his eyes widened in shock because he saw Edric, covered in blood.
