Chapter 691 Where Is Lady Valor? 

Raven had been away from Forret for so long that many assumed she was dead. She wondered if anyone still held onto her phone. She tried to recall, but realized she couldn’t remember who she had entrusted it to before leaving 

The cold, mechanical tone echoed for a long time. Just as Raven was about to hang up, a sudden crackle of static followed “Hello?” Raven spoke, her emotions mixed as she answered. 

“Who are you?” The voice on the other end seemed tense, with a slight tremor in the words. 

Hearing the voice, Raven immediately knew she didn’t recognize the person. The fact that her phone had fallen into the hands of a stranger made her more cautious. Nevertheless, she still confirmed her identity. ‘I’m Raven Valor 

“What?” The person on the other end suddenly raised their voice, their tone filled with suspicion. 

The person’s tone quickly turned frantic, almost shouting at Raven. “You’re lying! Stop pretending, Lady Valor passed away five years ago! You’re an impostor! Where did you get this contact info? Be honest with me!” 

“I am indeed Raven Valor,” Raven replied. From how the person spoke, it was clear they knew the version of her that existed, yet she had no memory of them. They knew about her past accident, and it might be connected to that event. 

“If you say you’re Raven Valor, tell me, who am I?” 

Raven was stunned; she had no idea for sure. There was no reason for her to know who the person on the other end of the line was, just because she was Raven. 

“Well, you can’t even answer, can you? You don’t even know who I am, yet you still try to impersonate Lady Valor!” 

Raven remained silent. “Stop making excuses; just tell me what you want.” She was about to reply, but the person interrupted her. “Lady Valor instructed that anyone who contacts this number can have one wish fulfilled. What is your wish? Just say it.” 

“Are you saying any request can be made?” Raven asked. She had initially intended to figure out the person’s identity on the other end, but now, finding Cassian was her top priority. 

“Stop wasting time; my patience is limited.” 

“I need you to track down someone’s whereabouts,” Raven said. 

“You’re an impostor indeed!” The person seemed a bit smug about their judgment. “Go on, tell me, who is the person you’re looking for?” 

“He’s Cassian Lysander, and he recently arrived in Forreb. He traveled there illegally with a woman named Tuesday Lysander.” Raven thought momentarily before adding, “Tuesday is a registered resident in Forreb, so if you investigate her, you should be able to find out more.” 

“I don’t need you to teach me how to investigate!” The person replied with apparent disdain. After rapid keyboard clicks, they continued, “Found them. They’re in a tertiary city in Forreb, Frihamen City.” 

“What’s the contact information?” 

The person seemed to want to make things difficult for Raven, but, bound by the need to fulfill her request, chose a roundabout way. Soon, they dialed Cassian’s number and transferred Raven’s call to him. 

At that moment, a slender young man answered the call. It was as if this phone call had touched a forbidden part of his heart, casting a dark shadow over his face. 

“Lady Valor… is it true that you’ve truly vanished, never to return?” He had always refused to believe that the goddess he admired had truly gone forever. 

He thought, ‘But if Lady Valor is still alive, why hasn’t she shown herself? Even if she was seriously injured, five years should have been enough time for her to recover.‘ 

The young man’s eyes were reddening. All the evidence pointed to the fact that Raven was gone. Yet, he refused to accept it. After all, she was the all–powerful, influential figure, and there was no way she could have been so easily killed. “Lady Valor, if you’re still alive, please return soon! We all miss you so much…” The young man was lost in sorrow, not noticing the footsteps approaching from behind. Before he could react, an elderly figure in a black robe appeared. “What were you just saying? Do you have news of Lady Valor?” The elderly figure asked, his voice trembling with excitement, his body visibly shaking. “Tell me quickly, where is Lady Valor?”
