Chapter 704 Five Years Ago? 

The middle–aged man’s expression grew anxious as he quickly tucked his phone away and ran toward the dock outside the spatial point. However, when he arrived, Raven was nowhere to be seen. The only person left was a disheveled middle–aged man, desperately pleading with the staff, claiming he was a Forrebian and wanted to return 

to Forreb. 

“Where is Raven Valor? What happened to that young woman just now? Where is she now?” The middle–aged man searched, trembling all over. “Has she already boarded the spatial vessel?” 

“That’s right, sir. Didn’t you say to let her through earlier? What happened?” one of the middle–aged man’s subordinates asked, clearly confused. “She had the 

communication chip and paid the fifty million kryts, so we allowed her to board the 

vessel.” 

“Damn it!” The middle–aged man cursed angrily, his gaze fixed intently on the dark exit by the dock. ‘Although it’s the same name, what if it’s the same person?‘ he thought. 

Five years had passed, and he no longer remembered what the young girl forced into the Spatial Gate had looked like. Only when he saw Raven earlier did something about her seem vaguely familiar. ‘What if she is Raven, the one from the Valor family?‘ he thought. ‘What should I do then?‘ 

Few knew the secret surrounding Raven, and it was likely that even she had no idea how much danger her existence could bring to others. They had carefully devised a plan to erase parts of her memory and send her into the Spatial Gate, all to eliminate this potential threat. 

If the Spatial Gate couldn’t destroy Raven, then once she regained those memories, those who had once conspired to harm her would undoubtedly face her revenge. ‘No! She can’t be allowed to live!‘ he thought desperately. 

“Go find someone from the Cloudshadow Sect! Call them now!” the middle–aged man roared. Whether or not this person was truly Raven, he couldn’t afford to take any risks. 

To secure his peace of mind, even if the girl who just passed through the spatial point was simply a coincidentally named ordinary person, he had to kill her to eliminate any future threats. The priority now was to strike as soon as she arrived in Forreb, ensuring no chance for retaliation.

At that moment, Benson suddenly rushed over from the side and said to the middle- aged man, “Are you looking for Raven Valor? Let me do it–I want to kill her too!” 

The middle–aged man looked Benson up and down before asking, “Do you know her?” 

“That’s right,” Benson replied. “I have a deep grudge with her. If you send me to Forreb, I will make sure to kill her!” 

“If you know Raven Valor, then you should be aware of her background,” the middle- aged man said. 

“Of course, I know!” Benson responded. “She’s from Bastion, Vyrdenia. She should’ve been imprisoned for over ten years for her crimes. Still, five years ago, somehow, she managed to curry favor with Lorne Drakon, the General of Vyrdenia, and got him to pull her out of prison and into the military. 

“A helpless girl, yet in just five years, she rose to the rank of Lieutenant General, and her strength skyrocketed.” Benson continued. “But despite her abilities, she’s always been one to put on airs. She offended someone and has been expelled from the Vyrdenia Military. She’s trying to flee to Forreb to escape!” 

Benson said in determination, “Let me in, now! I need to settle the score with her. I’ll kill her for you!” 

“Five years ago?” The middle–aged man caught something in Benson’s words that made his expression shift repeatedly. It had also been five years since they forced Raven into the Spatial Gate. ‘Could it be that she had survived–and assumed a new identity?‘ he thought.
