Raven paused as she turned toward Benson, who stood behind the crowd. His sarcastic demeanor suddenly overlapped with a memory from the past. She had seen this man before, back at the hotel in Broson City. At this moment, Raven couldn’t afford to waste time on Benson, who seemed to harbor unnecessary hostility toward her.
She quickly went to check Dangelo’s condition. Turning to the frantic Brecken, she explained, “Your grandfather already has a severe heart condition. The turbulence and pressure from the spatial vessel’s journey triggered the attack. He won’t make it to Forreb if we don’t act quickly.”
However, the surrounding passengers dismissed Raven’s words, responding with a mocking tone, “Heh, we all know his condition is serious. But what can we do? Even the doctors here in Forreb can’t treat him. Do you think you have the solution?”
“Everyone knows that only a doctor from a secondary city or higher can treat Mr. Barrera. You, coming from the lower realm, what could you possibly do?”

Raven looked coldly at the passengers making sarcastic remarks, then turned to look at Brecken. Despite his harsh attitude earlier, human life was at stake. If she could help, she wasn’t about to stand by and watch Dangelo’s life slip away.
Moreover, during the conversation between Dangelo and Brecken, she had overheard a mention of Franklin. If she wasn’t mistaken, that was likely her grandfather. When Franklin had gone missing years ago, the entire family had scoured every corner of Forreb but had never found any trace of him.
Since Dangelo had heard news about Franklin, she wanted to seize the opportunity to ask him where that information had come from. If Dangelo were to pass away from a heart attack on the vessel, she feared she would lose any chance of finding out more about Franklin’s whereabouts.
