Mack was so ecstatic in the living room, waving his arms around, that it immediately caught the attention of Leonard and Tuesday. They quickly rushed downstairs, and upon seeing Mack smiling while holding his phone, as if he had received some great news, they grew curious and gathered around.
“I just heard you mention the Sutton family. Are they going to partner with us?”
“Not just a partnership, the Sutton family is offering a 1.5 million investment for our company’s project!”
“Dad, is this true?” Leonard and Tuesday were visibly excited, their eyes lighting up at the news.

“Not only that, the Sutton family is also interested in your son. They want to form a marriage alliance with us!”
“Interested in Felipe?” Leonard and Tuesday exchanged a glance before asking in unison. “Who from the Sutton family is interested in Felipe? Could it be Mr. Sutton’s daughter?”
This news truly surprised them. Previously, Mack had been in a desperate situation, considering having Felipe marry into the Sutton family as a solution. However, that was only a last resort due to the company’s financial struggles.
They still hoped that Felipe could marry into a prestigious family as a son–in–law, not as a man marrying into the family. That way, the Cherry family’s status would rise alongside it.
“Exactly, and what the Sutton family meant was for them to get engaged! Do you understand, engaged?” Mack grinned from ear to ear. “He didn’t mention anything about marrying into the family. It seems like their daughter will be marrying into the Cherry family!”
Those words left Leonard and Tuesday overjoyed. Previously, to resolve the Cherry family’s financial crisis, they had gone to great lengths to pull strings and send Tuesday back to Vyrdenia through illegal means.
Although the smuggling route didn’t cost the fifty million kryts they claimed, they still spent nearly 3 million dollars and lost a valuable undeveloped plot of land. The harsh conditions aboard the spatial vessel were the least of their concerns.
The real risk was that if the authorities caught them during smuggling, the fines would double, reaching up to one hundred million kryts. At the time, they couldn’t come up with fifty million kryts, so they had no choice but to take the risk.

Fortunately, Tuesday made the jouy, avoiding surprise inspections, and successfully brought Cassian back to Forreb.

Even if it’s not the Larsson family, the Suttons still significantly influence Frihamen City. “Let’s inform Felipe immediately–have him prepare properly and bring some gifts to propose to the Sutton family’s daughter formally!” Leonard said.
Leonard’s words caused Mack’s smile to freeze. He suddenly recalled the conversation he’d had with Julio earlier. If memory served him right, the one the Sutton family had taken an interest in wasn’t Felipe at all, but Cassian.
Noticing the sudden shift in Mack’s expression, Leonard and Tuesday were caught off guard. They exchanged a glance, clearly confused by the abrupt change in mood.

Mack’s face darkened as they were about to ask what was wrong, and he let out a cold, bitter laugh. “The Sutton family isn’t interested in Felipe,” he said grimly. “They want that worthless burden from the lower realm instead.”
“What did you just say, Dad? You’ve got to be kidding, right?” Leonard’s eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Mack, his voice tinged with shock and confusion.
“Why would the Sutton family want us to marry into their family if it wasn’t to have Felipe marry their daughter? There’s no way they’d want that commoner. It must be a misunderstanding. Dad, are you sure you didn’t mishear? Did you confuse Felipe with Cassian when Mr. Sutton talked to you?”
