Chapter 721
Chapter 721
Tuesday excitedly held up five fingers in front of Cassian. “And this was only the first investment round,” she said. “Once Felipe marries the Sutton heiress, the benefits coming our way will be endless.
“Even if your status doesn’t compare to Felipe’s, you’d still attract interest from some respectable middle–class families with your looks. Marrying a woman with hefty engagement gifts wouldn’t be difficult. As long as her family background is solid, even marrying into her family would be a valuable opportunity for you.
“Cassian, I’m saying this for your good. Can Raven offer you a life as comfortable as this? All she does is cause trouble, offend people, and drag you down with her. Besides, a woman as fickle as her wouldn’t settle down even if she married you.
“Listen to me–stop thinking about her. I promise you, I’ll find you a match that truly satisfies you.” With that, Tuesday hurried out of the room, afraid Cassian might change his mind.
She had always climbed the social ladder through marriage, so she never saw leveraging it for personal gain as shameful. On the contrary, she believed that as long as she could marry someone powerful and influential, sacrificing her dignity was a small price to pay.
After Tuesday left, Cassian walked to the window and gazed at the courtyard. He would not agree to an engagement with anyone else, no matter what she wanted. But for now, he couldn’t risk revealing his true identity–staying in Frihamen City meant he had to continue living under his current guise.
Still, if the time came when he had no choice but to reveal his identity, Cassian was prepared to face those who had been searching for him. What worried him was that Raven might return to Forreb because of him. He could handle whatever danger came his way–he didn’t want her to end up on their radar.
Although Cassian had come up with a seemingly reasonable excuse before returning to Forreb and had already checked in safely with Garth, he wasn’t sure if any of it could truly fool Raven. With her sharp instincts, she might have already sensed that he was hiding something from her.
‘If Raven comes back… he thought, a shadow flickering across Cassian’s eyes as he stared at the overcast sky in the distance. If those people caught wind of her movements, the balance of power in Deariton would undoubtedly be upended.

The spatial vessel carrying Raven would take three days to reach Frihamen City’s entry port, and members of the Cloudshadow Sect had arrived well in advance. The port officials hadn’t expected anyone from the sect to show up, and with no clue about their intentions, they were growing increasingly uneasy.
“How much longer until the spatial vessel arrives?” one of the Cloudshadow Sect members asked, their tone edged with impatience.
“It’s almost here; there are twenty more minutes until it arrives,” the staff member answered cautiously, glancing at their watch.
Meanwhile, at the spatial point in Vyrdenia, the middle–aged man quickly dialed the phone of a member of the Cloudshadow Sect. As soon as the call was answered, he hurriedly asked, “Sir, have you captured the commoner yet?”
“The spatial vessel hasn’t arrived yet, but as soon as she appears, I’ll take her down immediately. A commoner like her dares to set foot in Forreb–such a person is not worth sparing.”
Sir, Raven Valor is cunning and unpredictable. You must not let her slip away. If she manages to sneak into Forreb, she could cause trouble.”
“I won’t let her escape,” the Cloudshadow Sect member said firmly. The middle–aged man sighed in relief after hearing the
response.
Raven could not be allowed to make it into Frihamen City alive. If the Larsson family found out she was still alive, he

wouldn’t survive either. After all, he had personally reported to the Larsson family that Raven had been crushed by the overwhelming force of the Spatial Gate, with no chance of survival.
He hadn’t bothered to confirm Raven’s death on the other side of the Spatial Gate because he felt the wait was far too long. After all, no one who fell into the Spatial Gate could survive, so he had confidently returned to report to the head of the Larsson family, assured that there was no need for further verification.

No one could have imagined that Raven was so resilient. After surviving the crushing force of the Spatial Gate, she lived and thrived under a new identity in the lower realm. Fortunately, she had lost part of her memory; otherwise, she would undoubtedly have returned for revenge.
The middle–aged man couldn’t help but shudder at the thought of the look in Raven Valor’s eyes before she fell into the Spatial Gate. It had been terrifying–so intense that it still haunted him to this day.
On the other side, at the entry port of Frihamen City, the Cloudshadow Sect member hung up the phone and immediately instructed the staff nearby, “As soon as the spatial vessel from Vyrdenia arrives, block all the exits. Do not let that commoner slip away under any circumstances!”
