Chapter 723
Julio felt uneasy. After all, his process wasn’t in order, and he had secretly enlisted the help of black market contact to forge his entry permit. Julio would be fine if those people didn’t conduct a thorough investigation. But if they carefully reviewed each individual’s exit application, he, Dangelo, and the others would be in serious trouble.
However, Raven picked up on another detail in Julio’s words. “So this organization, the Cloudshadow Sect, haven’t been heard from in many years?” she asked, her curiosity piqued.
That meant the Cloudshadow Sect must have risen to prominence much earlier, yet she had never heard of it. If the sect was truly as famous as Julio implied, with even people in tertiary cities being familiar with it, there was no way she could have been entirely unaware of it.
Furthermore, she had no memory of her four mentors either, which led Raven to a troubling conclusion–she had lost part of her memory.
Just as Raven furrowed her brows, wondering, the Cloudshadow Sect member once again raised his voice and shouted, “I already gave you a chance. Since you won’t come forward and confess, don’t blame me for dragging you out myself!” He led the border staff into the spatial vessel and began the search.
He scanned the crowd, and his gaze immediately settled on Raven–her plain appearance stood out among the others. To him, she looked exactly like someone who didn’t belong, likely the intruder from the lower realm. Taking a few steps forward, the Cloudshadow Sect member demanded, “Are you Raven Valor? Did you sneak in from the lower realm?
“I am Raven Valor,” she replied calmly. “But I have a valid communication chip and paid fifty million kryts for my passage aboard this vessel…”
“Silence!” the Cloudshadow Sect member snapped, cutting Raven off without hesitation. “Don’t think your flimsy excuses and half–baked lies can fool anyone!
“I received a report from the Vyrdenia Spatial Point staff stating that you assaulted an officer, snuck aboard the spatial vessel using a forged communication chip, and never paid the fifty million kryts fare! I already know everything you’ve done–no point denying it any further!”
Raven narrowed her eyes slightly. She hadn’t attacked anyone at the Spatial Point, and she had indeed paid for the voyage— it was clear now that these people were deliberately targeting her.
But before she could speak, Benson, sitting at the back, suddenly stood up and shouted with exaggerated urgency, “Sir! I can prove that the communication chip in her possession doesn’t belong to her! And with her status, there’s no way she could afford fifty million kryts–it belongs to someone else!
“I can prove she has no right to enter Forreb!” Benson had been eagerly awaiting their arrival in Forreb ever since boarding. Now that someone had finally come to deal with Raven, he jumped at the chance to accuse her, wasting no time exposing
her.
‘Perfect! She is finally going to die!‘ Benson’s face lit up as he looked at the Cloudshadow Sect member, eyes gleaming with anticipation. He even imagined the scene of Raven being struck down on the spot–so worked up by the thought that the muscles in his face twitched uncontrollably.
Raven glanced back at Benson, a coldness creeping into her expression. This man had harbored ill intentions toward her since the moment they met, and now he was fabricating lies and false evidence to accuse her of illegal entry. It all felt too deliberate, as though this had been planned from the start.
Raven refused to let Benson slander her. She spoke firmly, “The communication chip was obtained from someone else, but its registration is mine. It has returned to my possession, which isn’t a violation.”
At the Spatial Point, Raven noticed that when the staff scanned the communication chip, the registered name was her own.
At first, she had no idea why her communication chip was in the Ivory Reliquary. But after meeting George and thinking

about his connection with the Parsons family, she began to suspect that George had arranged for her the chip.
