Chapter 729
“Given your situation in Vyrdenia, there’s no way you could afford fifty million kryts! Are you brave enough to face the consequences? That fifty million kryts must have come from someone else!”
“That’s right, the fifty million kryts were indeed transferred to me by someone else. So what?” Raven retorted.
Upon hearing this, Benson’s expression shifted to unsurprised disdain, his smile even more mocking. “It seems you still haven’t figured out your place. This is Förreb, not some lower realm like Vyrdenia, where you can get away with anything. Can you do as you please here with your little skills? You’re too naïve.

“With your skills, you can only intimidate the small–time thugs of Forreb. Anyone with some status could crush you as easily as squashing an ant! You just offended a member of the Cloudshadow Sect–prepare for them to come and kill you.”
“You don’t need to worry about me, but you keep questioning the source of my fifty million kryts. Tell me, do you have the means to pay alone?”
Benson was taken aback, his smile freezing on his face.
“You’re the one who snuck in, aren’t you?” Raven recalled that the staff kicked Benson out when she arrived at the Spatial Point. But once she boarded the spatial vessel, he arrived shortly after. Someone had allowed him to take the back door and make an exception for boarding.
“You’re talking nonsense! I’m Forrebian! I came back openly and legitimately!” Benson continued to argue, refusing to admit anything.
“I never questioned your identity. Why do you keep emphasizing it?” The more Benson insisted, the more Raven began to find his identity suspicious. It almost felt like he was afraid she might expose him.
Since Benson had undergone a significant transformation in appearance, Raven didn’t immediately connect him to the Vyrdenian leader, Benson Macy, whom the Sunset Empire had captured. Instead, she assumed he was just another lackey sent by those who were trying to target her to keep an eye on her.
“Although I don’t know who you are, someone must have sent you to follow me, right? The reward they promised you is probably access to Forreb,” Raven continued to speculate.
“I don’t understand what you’re saying!” Benson’s eyelids twitched, and cold sweat began to bead on his forehead. Even though he was sure Raven couldn’t resist him, her innate pressure made it hard for him to breathe.
“Fine, let’s pretend you don’t understand.” Raven couldn’t be bothered to argue with him. “Go back and tell the mastermind -whether it’s to spy on me or seek revenge–they can come at me directly, so there’s no need to hide behind the scenes.” With that, she turned and walked away, completely ignoring Benson.
Raven had long suspected that her movements were being monitored. She had never been sure whether enemies from her previous encounter in Vyrdenia targeted her or if people from Forreb had caught wind of her presence. It wasn’t until she encountered members of the Cloudshadow Sect that her thoughts began to crystallize.
Ordinary Vyrdenians couldn’t possibly have any connections to organizations in Forreb. The person targeting her was likely tied to Forreb in some way. However, the hidden enemy wasn’t necessarily one of those from five years ago.
She was eager to discover the true identity of the one sneaking around and following her. Since that person wanted her dead in Vyrdenia, she couldn’t just sit back and wait for it to happen.

In Frihamen City, Forreb, the member who had been sent to the hospital for treatment wore a grim expression. A common and inferior Raven had severely injured him, and if this got out, he would never be able to show his face in Forreb again.
His prideful ego couldn’t accept being sent to the hospital by a woman. “Raven Valor, don’t think everything will go
