“Leonard, Tuesday, you two help Felipe pick out something more luxurious to wear. We can’t let the Sutton family think the Cherry family is shabby!” 

Mack beamed like a flower blooming, the wrinkles on his face trembling with joy. He affectionately took Felipe’s hand and urged him repeatedly, “Felipe, you must give it your best tonight. Everything depends on this one shot.” 

“Grandpa, I won’t let you down.” Felipe’s heart swelled with joy and pride, nearly bursting from his chest. Brimming with confidence, he promised Mack, “I won’t let you down! One day, the Cherry family will rise among the elite of Frihamen City. I’ll make every family that ever looked down on us grovel at our feet, begging for favor.” 

After delivering his bold declaration, Felipe turned eagerly and rushed upstairs to his room to pick out a suit and tie. 

As soon as Felipe went upstairs, Mack’s expression shifted instantly. He fixed a serious, scrutinizing gaze on Tuesday. “Tuesday, contact the doctor. Felipe’s surgery can’t be delayed any longer.” 

Tuesday’s body trembled slightly, and she bit her lip, not responding immediately. Mack’s expression darkened, and he spoke sharply, “Don’t forget who gave you this life of luxury! 

“Your only hope is Felipe. If something happens to him, your future will be a life of lowly servitude! Didn’t you bring Cassian back from the lower realm for this very reason? Now that Felipe has earned the Sutton family’s approval, I will not allow anything to go wrong at this critical moment! 

“Aside from us, no one knows that Felipe has a heart condition, but if he suddenly falls ill or if the Sutton family happens to find out, they will call off the engagement! Even as a son–in–law, the Sutton family would never accept a sickly man who could die at any 

moment! 

“Once Felipe’s marriage to the Sutton family’s daughter is confirmed, he will have to undergo a heart transplant.” 

“Dad, can you please…” Tuesday hesitated, her heart heavy. After all, Cassian was her son, too. 

“Not possible!” Mack rudely interrupted her, “Cassian’s only value is to provide a healthy heart for Felipe!” He didn’t spare another glance at Tuesday and turned, heading upstairs, leaving her in the living room, troubled and lost in thought. 

She had always hoped that her son would be valued by a prestigious family and chosen as her son–in–law. As long as Felipe rose to prominence, she could elevate herself through him. However, if influential families favored both of her sons, that would provide even more security for her. 

She had walked on eggshells in the Cherry family for many years, knowing that neither her husband nor her father–in–law could be relied upon. The only people she could truly depend on were her sons. 

She agreed to bring Cassian back not to have him donate his heart, but in the hope that he, too, would be valued by some family. This way, she would have double security. Therefore, whether driven by maternal instincts or concern for her future, Tuesday did not want Cassian to give his heart to Felipe. 

But now, with Mack’s firm stance, if the Cherry family insisted on arranging the heart transplant for Felipe, she would likely be powerless to stop it. ‘What should I do?‘ she thought.
