Chapter 22
Chapter 22
Hearing this, everyone present was left utterly dumbfounded.
Never in their wildest dreams would they believe that Finn would get married to Arya so quickly.
Everyone seemed to be in a daze.
Only Eloise looked concerned as she turned to Arya. “Arya, did you really marry Finn? But your dad is still lying in bed unconscious. What if he doesn’t agree?”
Her voice was sweet and soft, making it seem like she cared deeply for Arya. But only Arya knew she was a classic bitch.
“As long as it’s someone I like, my dad will definitely agree,” Arya said, leaning her head on Finn’s shoulder, pretending to be all dainty and endearing.
Though she had no feelings for Finn, she wanted to piss off this hypocritic bitch.
Malcolm finally couldn’t hold back at this, questioning, “Arya, did you hook up with my uncle long ago?”
Thinking about dating Arya for half a year without even holding her hand, yet she married his uncle in just two days, Malcolm felt inexplicably frustrated.
Under normal circumstances, he would never dare question Arya in front of Finn.
But here at his grandpa’s house, with his grandma and grandpa backing him up, he was emboldened.
Arya glanced at the cold Finn beside her, replying, “I was kidnapped the night before last and happened to meet Finn. We fell in love at first sight.”
Her face was full of happiness as she said this.
Finn couldn’t help recalling her shy appearance that night, his sexy Adam’s apple rolling slightly.
Colin, who had just snapped back to reality, immediately said with a dark face, “I have no objections to whom you marry, but Arya is absolutely out of the question. You must divorce her immediately!”
In his younger days, Colin served in the military, and there was a naturally commanding presence about him that didn’t require raising his voice.
Especially when saying these words, he had the intimidation of a superior officer.
Arya always knew Colin didn’t like her. He even thought Malcolm was way out of her league.
After the Keller Group got into trouble; the Barnett family didn’t call off the engagement for its public image, but Arya was mysteriously kidnapped on the night of the engagement.
She knew this matter wasn’t as simple as it seemed.
Finn, upon hearing this, showed an expression of displeasure gradually on his extraordinarily handsome face.
With eyes as deep and sharp as a hawk’s, he stared at Colin coldly. “Now that I’ve married her, I will never betray her!”
Originally just planning to watch the drama unfold quietly, Arya was slightly surprised by these words.
‘What did the scumbag mean by never betraying me? Is he defending me?‘ she wondered.
The atmosphere got a bit stiff.
Just then, Eleanor came out with a gift. At the sight of Arya beside Finn, her face immediately darkened.
Finn was already annoying enough. And he’d bring back an even more annoying woman.

“Mrs. Barnett.” Eloise was sharp–eyed and quick–witted. She quickly went up to Eleanor, holding her arm affectionately. “It’s been years. You look ever younger than before.”
“You still have that sweet tongue of yours.” With that, Eleanor shot a frosty glance at Arya and Finn before breaking into a warm smile and placing the prepared gift into Eloise’s hands.
