Chapter 25
Chapter 25
Arya could naturally tell that this woman named Natalie was trying to seduce Finn.
Too bad, Finn was already her man. Even though she planned to divorce him later, she wouldn’t allow any other woman to challenge her authority.
Natalie was a bit surprised by this news.
During college, she indeed hadn’t seen any women around Finn.
‘He doesn’t like women? But why did he marry Arya?‘ she wondered.
Arya seemed to see through Natalie’s thoughts, narrowing her eyes lazily and saying, “You must be wondering, since my husband doesn’t like women, why would he marry me, right?
“Should I tell you the answer?” She deliberately dragged out her words, piquing everyone’s curiosity.
“Well then, why did my uncle marry you?” Emily chimed in.
Everyone present wanted to know the reason, too,
The Barnett family all knew that Finn didn’t like interacting with women, and Colin was even worried that he might be gay.
But unexpectedly, as soon as he returned from abroad, he hooked up with his nephew’s fiancée.
That was why Colin rushed to arrange a blind date between Finn and Natalie.
“Well, because I’m the most beautiful woman in Flodes,” Arya said coolly, glancing at the few women present who looked like they wanted to devour her.
She then curled her red lips into a sneer. “Since ancient times, heroes have always fallen for beauty. My husband is no exception.”
Following that, she looked up at the man beside her. “Honey, am I right?”
Being called so intimately, Finn was greatly delighted.
His originally ice–cold, handsome face gradually showed a hint of pleasure.
He couldn’t help but gently kiss Arya’s red lips, his voice sexy and magnetic. “You’re absolutely right.”
Everyone present was stunned, especially Colin.
He never expected that the usually aloof and indifferent Finn would publicly kiss a woman.
-What was worse, he had invited Natalie today, which really put her in an awkward spot.
Natalie’s face turned pale with anger when she met Arya’s arrogant yet challenging gaze.
Back in college, Finn wouldn’t even spare her a second glance. But now, he was kissing Arya in front of everyone.
Natalie, trying to maintain her ladylike persona, forced a smile and said to Colin, “Thanks for having me today, Mr. Barnett.
“But it just came to me that I’ve got work at the TV station at noon. So, I’m sorry I can’t stay for dinner. Please forgive me.”
Colin felt a bit guilty since he’d invited her over.
He gave an apologetic smile. “Natalie, I’m really sorry. Guess
We didn’t host well.”
“Oh, I’m faltered, Mr. Barnett.” After the polite exchange with Colin, Natalie nodded to the others and hurried off.

Chapter 25
Once she left, the atmosphere in the mansion grew even heavier.
Colin’s face darkened instantly. “Finn, I can’t control who you marry, but I’m telling you straight, Arya’s not welcome in our family!”
It was clear–he wanted Arya out.
He couldn’t do anything about Finn, but surely he could handle a Arya.
Even if the two got married, he’d do whatever it took to break them up.
The truth was, Arya didn’t want to step into the Barnett family at all.
If it weren’t for Finn forcing her to come, she wouldn’t have.
What she didn’t expect was the usually cold man suddenly yanking her waist, his deep eyes locking onto Colin’s slightly angry face. “Since my wife is not welcome here, there’s no point for me to stay either.”
With that, he wrapped an arm around Arya and turned to leave decisively.
“Finn, stop right there!” Colin was so mad that his body was shaking.
But Finn, cold and composed, didn’t even look back.
He never had much feeling for the Barnett family.
No one really treated him like family in this home. To him, this family was just disposable.
“Dad.” Aiden quickly supported Colin. “Don’t be mad at Finn. He must be bewitched by that woman.”
As he said this, Aiden put away his signature smile, narrowing his deep eyes towards the direction Finn and Arya had left.
Eleanor hadn’t had a chance to speak earlier, but right after Finn and Arya left, she seized the chance to complain bitterly, “Colin, I told you that Finn is a thankless brat.
“Look, now he’s not only making Malcolm kneel for an outsider, but also going against the whole family. If this keeps up, the Barnett family might just collapse!”
Eloise also took this opportunity to speak up in a “kind and generous” tone. “Mr. Barnett, I’m not sure if I should say this, but I really don’t want everyone to keep being in the dark.”
“Go ahead, what is it?” Colin looked at Eloise with a poker face,
“Actually, my cousin Arya…” Eloise hesitated before saying, “I heard she was only found by my aunt and uncle five years ago.
“Before that, she was out there, surviving by hooking up with different men. I’m worried Finn might be deceived by her.”
In fact, she made up all of this to slander Arya.
It was also to retaliate against Arya for exposing her having a boyfriend abroad earlier.
She only heard from her father that Arya was the real daughter found by the Keller family five years ago, but had no idea what Arya experienced before being found.
In her view, a young girl out there could only survive now by doing that kind of flesh trade.
The Barnett family was the top of the five great families in Flodes and definitely wouldn’t allow Arya into their doors.
Besides, Finn was outrageously handsome.
Chapter 25
She couldn’t let Arya get him for free.
Outside the Barnett Mansion, Arya looked at the man beside her, his face dark but his arms still around her waist, and said in a calm tone, “Actually, you didn’t have to fall out with your family for me.”
In her opinion, even though someone was rich and powerful, they would be very lonely if they didn’t have family support.
She was once an orphan. Even though she had a lot of money and many friends who cared about her, she still longed to find her family.
Then she really found her family and felt the warmth and joy of a home.
She was even willing to give up everything she once had for this warm home.
For her, family was the most important thing in her life.
Suddenly, a deep, cold voice sounded in her ear. “You are my family.”
