Aiden couldn’t help but furrow his brows. “What does he want at our house?”
He distinctly remembered that ever since Finn had returned to the Barnett family eight years ago, he had only visited the Barikien Mansion once, and not even on their birthdays.
His intuition told Aiden that Finn’s visit this time was bound to be trouble.
The butler nodded. “Finn has brought quite a few bodyguards this time, and it seems two of them are escorting two bound men in black. It doesn’t look like he’s here for a friendly visit.”
Malcolm’s face turned pale in an instant. ‘The two men Finn brought, could they be the hitmen I sent to Keller Villa last night?‘ he thought.
Nora immediately stood up, her face filled with discontent. “Aiden, let’s be honest. You are the head of the Barnett family. Finn is just Mr. Barnett’s illegitimate son. Ever since he returned, he took away your position of power and even made Malcolm apologize at the Norrian Club. Why should we always give in to him?”
Aiden’s pupils contracted slightly, but he quickly put on a gentle expression. “Finn is, after all, Malcolm’s uncle. As an older brother, I should be accommodating.”
“Aiden, you truly are a magnanimous person,” a deep, sexy voice suddenly came from the doorway, tinged with a chilling coldness. “But unfortunately, I am far from magnanimous.”
Aiden frowned and turned his head to see Finn striding in, surrounded by a group of bodyguards.
Finn’s demeanor was languid, his facial features sharp and ruggedly handsome. He exuded an intimidating aura that made anyone who looked at him feel uneasy.
Sometimes Aiden really didn’t understand. ‘We are brothers, so why does Finn have such a powerful presence, as if he was born to be a king?” he thought to himself.
At that moment, Finn casually raised his hand, and the bodyguards immediately brought the two bound and bruised men in black to the center of the living room.
The two men, knowing better, knelt down with a thud. “Mr. Finn Barnett, please spare our lives. We won’t dare do it again, Please give us another
chance.”
Malcolm nearly fell over when he recognized the two hitmen. He had never
stposted to see them in Finn’s custody.
Nora, thinking that Malcolm’s fear stemmed from his previous humiliation at the Norrian Club, finally couldn’t hold back and stepped forward. “Finn, what do you want by bringing so many people to our home?”
She had always been upset about her son being forced to apologize. Outside, she kept quiet, but here at home, she felt free to confront Finn in her own
house.
A flash of malice crossed Aiden’s eyes, but it disappeared quickly as he said, “Nora, Finn rarely visits us. We should entertain him properly.”
Then, with a smile, Aiden invited Finn, “You have good timing. Finn, you haven’t had breakfast yet, have you? Benoit, quickly prepare a set of utensils for
Finn.”
Finn let out a soft chuckle, his deep, sexy voice filled with coldness. “Aiden, it seems you’re in a good mood today. Are you unaware of your son’s actions, or are you simply indulging him?”
Finn’s voice was calm and measured, as if he were commenting on the weather, yet it sent a chill down everyone’s spine.
Malcolm’s legs turned to jelly. ‘It’s over. Finn has come to settle scores with me,‘ he thought.

Nora, unable to tolerate her son being bullied any longer, stepped forward and confronted Finn. “Finn, you made Malcolm apologize to Arya in the Norrian Club last time, and we let it go. Are you here today to target my son again?”
Finn’s lips curled into a faint smile, his cold eyes sharp and merciless as they fell on Nora. “Nora, your son hired two hitmen to set fire to Kaller Villa La night. Tell me, should I stay out of it? Huh?”
Finn deliberately drew out the last syllable, but his eyes, like a deep pool, held a bloodthirsty, lethal intent.
Nora was taken aback. ‘Malcolm hired hitmen to set fire to Keller Villa? Impossible, she thought.
But quickly, Nora spoke up assertively. “Finn, what evidence do you have that Malcolm hired hitmen to set fire to the Keller family’s place?”
Finn casually lifted his eyelids, glancing down at the two bound men on the ground. “They are the best proof.”
But Malcolm shook his head in denial. “No. It wasn’t me. I didn’t. Finn, I’m being framed. I don’t even know these people.”
The two bound hitmen on the ground, hearing Malcolm’s denial, began to wail in distress.
“Mr. Malcolm Barnett, you told us to set fire to Keller Villa. You can’t deny it now.”
“It was Mr. Malcolm Barnett. You said it yourself. If we succeeded in burning down Keller Villa, you’d give each of us 300 thousand dollars.”
“Dad, Mom, I really didn’t do it,” Malcolm insisted, refusing to

“They must be framing me on purpose.”
Aiden’s face gradually darkened, but soon he spoke in a mild tone. “Finn, is there some kind of misunderstanding here?”
“Misunderstanding?” Finn suddenly took out a lighter and began to play with it. In an instant, he lit the lighter, the flickering red flame appearing and disappearing.
The next second, he tossed the lighter at Malcolm’s head, and the red flame quickly ignited Malcolm’s hair.
Malcolm, terrified, frantically waved his arms to try to put out the flames on his head and screamed, “Dad, Mom, help me.”
Nora was so shocked by the scene that her eyes widened in panic. She quickly grabbed the water jug from the table and poured all the water over Malcolm’s head.
The fire was extinguished, but Malcolm’s hair was completely burned off, and not only that, his scalp was also burned.
The two killers on their knees shuddered in fear. They hadn’t expected Finn to be so ruthless, willing to harm his own nephew.
‘We just got beaten up. Maybe we’re the lucky ones,‘ they thought.
“Finn, I didn’t say a word when you made Malcolm apologize to Arya last time, but your actions today are too much,” Aiden’s usually good–natured image finally couldn’t be maintained.
He finally questioned coldly, “If Nora hadn’t poured water to put out the fire on him just now, were you planning to burn him to death?”
