Finn’s casual tone sent Aiden’s face into a sudden change. He hadn’t expected Finn to admit it so thoroughly. Finn, who had burned off his son’s hai seemed indifferent. A terrifying, sinister aura gradually emanated from Finn.
“Finn, you’ve gone too far,” Nora roared in anger. “Malcolm is your nephew. How could you be so ruthless with him?”
Watching her son’s once beautiful hair burn off, she was heartbroken. She had never been willing to harm a hair on her son’s head, yet Finn had dared to burn it all off.
‘If the scalp is damaged, the hair might never grow back. How will Malcolm face people in the future?‘ Nora thought to herself.
“Because he is my nephew, I came here. Since you can’t discipline him properly, I’ll do it for you,” Finn said coldly, his deep eyes like ice, emitting a chilling glow as he glanced at the disheveled Malcolm. “Malcolm, this time, I’ll let you off. If there’s a next time, be prepared for your parents to collect your remains.”
With that, Finn turned and left. The bodyguards quickly escorted the two hitmen away, and in an instant, they vanished as if they had never been there.
However, the atmosphere in the living room did not ease with Finn’s departure.
Malcolm stood there, still trembling from the shock.
He had always heard that Finn was cold–blooded and brutal, but he hadn’t expected him to be so terrifying. ‘I’m his nephew. For Arya, he would be so merciless?‘ Malcolm thought.
“Aiden, are we just going to let this go?” Nora looked at her husband, Aiden, unwilling to accept the situation. “Finn is now so rampant, coming to our home and bullying Malcolm. If this continues, will Malcolm ever have a good day?”
Aiden’s usually gentle face finally took on a terrible ferocity. He looked at his frightened son, his pupils gradually darkening with malice. “Of course, we can’t just let this go.”
After leaving the Barikien Mansion, Finn received a call from Robert “Mr. Barnett, I’ve arranged for the special forces to guard Keller Villa as you
requested.”
Finn’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Did you pass on the message I told you to?”
Robert quickly replied, “Mr. Barnett, Mrs. Barnett said she will come to you herself tonight.”
“Good.” Finn’s lips curled into a faint smile. “Your bonus for this month will be doubled.”
Robert, on the other end, was surprised by the unexpected reward. ‘It seems that as long as I can find a way to please Mr. Barnett through Mrs. Barnett, my future pay raises and promotions will not be a problem,‘ he wondered.
So he eagerly asked, “Mr. Barnett, shall I prepare some gifts for Mrs. Barnett?”
Finn seemed to think Robert had a point and asked in a low voice, “What do you think would be a good gift?”
Robert laughed and said, “Women love clothes/bags, and jewelry.”
Finn immediately instructed, “Send all the latest women’s clothing, bags, and shoes from the LV brand to the Platinum Mansion. Also, send the latest rings, necklaces, and earrings.”
“Yes, Mr. Barnett, I’ll do it right away,” Robert replied, never dreaming that Finn would care so much about Arya. It seemed Finn had truly fallen for her

this time.
At that moment, Arya had no idea that Finn had disciplined Malcolm for her, nor did she know about the surprise Finn had prepared for Nor
After dealing with Natalie, Arya drove straight to Flodes Hospital.
Earlier, Arya had received a call from Dietmar Locke, the head of the neurology department where she was interning, saying that her internship position needed to be readjusted and that she should come urgently for a meeting.
Two months ago, she had successfully graduated from medical school and become an intern doctor in the neurology outpatient department at Flodes Hospital. Although being an intern seemed a bit beneath her, this position provided her with excellent cover.
Twenty minutes later, Arya, dressed in a white T–shirt, jeans, and with her hair tied back in a ponytail, rushed into the neurology department head’s office. Her lips were red, and her naturally beautiful face, free of makeup, exuded an undeniable confidence.
On the sofa in the office were six other interns who had recently graduated, just like her.
As soon as Arya entered, their gazes swept over to her, filled with a mix of disdain, sympathy, and mockery.
Arya, however, paid no mind. After a brief, indifferent scan of the other interns, she shifted her focus to Dietmar, who was seated behind the desk. “Mr. Locke, you mentioned on the phone that my position is being adjusted. What does that mean?”
Dietmar Locke, who was forty years old, was the head of the neurology department at Flodes Hospital and the supervisor of their inter group. He was known for his smooth and tactful way of handling situations.
Dietmar looked at Arya and put on a standard, insincere smile. “Arya, our neurology department is currently overstaffed with interns. I’ve discussed it with the dean, and we’ve decided to transfer you to the geriatrics department.”
The geriatrics department was specifically designed for patients over the age of sixty. Due to the natural aging process, many interns had to take on nursing duties as well. Some even had to endure physical abuse from elderly patients with bad tempers.
As interns, they mostly had to swallow their pride and put up with it. As a result, few were willing to intern in the geriatrics department.
Arya’s facial expression remained unchanged as she coolly regarded Dietmar. “Mr. Locke, I am an intern specializing in neurology. May I ask why I am being transferred to the geriatrics department?”
Her tone was indifferent, as if she didn’t care about the matter and was merely inquiring. However, when Dietmar met Arya’s cpiercing gaze, he couldn’t help but shiver. ‘How can a mere intern have such a powerful presence?‘ he thought to himself.
But quickly, Dietmar put on a troubled expression and said, “Arya, let me be honest with you. There is a patient in the geriatrics ward who specifically requested you for his treatment. He is a person of high status and influence, someone we can’t afford to offend. We are considering all factors and hope you will comply with the hospital’s arrangement.”
